I've been using Evernote for a while now. Since yesterday the application doesn't start anymore. The german UI returns an error message that translates "Evernote was closed unexpectedly". I (used to) run the latest version of Evernote on Snow Leopard (10.6.4)
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Evernote, but no luck.
In some thread I learned that Evernote stores user data in user/Library/Application Support/Evernote...
I uninstalled again and also removed this "Evernote" folder and its subfolders. After reinstallation Evernote started again, but obviously without my data. After copying my data back into the Evernote folder, the error message was back and Evernote did not open.
I suppose I'm dealing with some kind of corruption of my data which increasingly worries me.
I would be grateful for any hint on how to resolve this issue.
