mklives 0 Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Hi, when I clip a webpage, it takes about 5 minutes before it shows up in my notes. Also, it looks nothing like the original page. Different layout, etc.It sometimes doesn't have the pictures, too.Does anyone know why?I'm using Snow Leopard, OS X 10.6.8Thanks.
kpedgecomb 0 Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 This is because Safari's recent upgrade to version 5.1 is incompatible with the old Evernote webclipper plugin. They're working on a new extension to replace that. Look around through some of the other recent forum threads about clipping for more details. If perfect webclipping of the entire page is absolutely necessary for you, you can either downgrade to an earlier version of Safari and still use the old webclipper, or you can install and use Google Chrome and its webclipper, which works. The new Safari extension should be coming along soon, though.
mklives 0 Posted August 3, 2011 Author Posted August 3, 2011 Thanks for the reply. I'll try to get Chrome working
DannyG2 0 Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 PLEASE EVERNOTE, get this extension out as soon as possible. Don't wait to bundle it with a major upgrade. Frankly I'm surprised this has not already been done. It is one of the best features of EVERNOTE and I miss it.
