I use the Readability plug-in to reformat an article then import that version into Evernote. I do some quick edits and the version that Evernote stores now looks perfect on my iPhone and on Mac/PC. I would definately not enjoy Evernote nearly as much without the combination of Readability.

This function is now baked into the Evernote Chrome Clipper as "Clip Article".

I still have the Readability bookmarklet installed but almost never use it now.

At this time, the function is only available in Chrome.

When I clip a website with Evernote, I click on the "Keep only the basic formatting".

This option seems to do a better job capturing the website than Readability.

This is a Firefox clipper option, and yeah, I use it as well.

The equivalent option in Chrome is global to all clips, "Preserve style only for text"
