BurgersNFries 2,407 Posted July 22, 2011 Share Posted July 22, 2011 If you're using the Mac desktop, you already have a copy of the database on your computer. As Metrodon pointed out, it's your responsibility to back it up regularly. It's especially important if you have local (non-sync'd) notebooks and/or an especially large database, which could take a few hours to download from the EN servers, should you have a hard drive failure & need to install EN on a new hard drive/computer.
