(Archived) Keep tags tree collapsed?

I would like the Tags tree in the left sidebar in the Windows client to stay collapsed. Every single time EN syncs it expands the tree.... I really seriously don't need to see the tags 99% of the time.

It seems every time the WinClient auto-syncs it resets the displayed notes to the last one in the currently viewed notebook. IIRC, this was not the end result prior to this (or perhaps the previous) build (Windows Client build #31230) as of June 23, 2008. I believe it may be much preferred to have the auto-sync update as required, but not change the current selection / viewed note(s), if possible.
