(Archived) Clipping only offers deleted notebooks

Hello!

After registering for Evernote in 2009 I've finally decided to put it to good use. I logged in today, reorganized my nine or so clips and made new notebooks. I deleted two old notebooks that were automatically generated from my Google accounts.

However, I cannot clip any new items to my new notebooks. When I use the Firefox clipper, I get the option to save to the two old notebooks - but that's it. I have tried restarting Firefox but that doesn't help.

Since the old notebooks are not longer in my queue and I have no other options for saving, my clips are being lost in the ether.

Has anyone encountered this before? Advice?

Did you sync your account before trying to clip?

Could you tell us what OS & browser version you are using?

Hi there,

I am not sure how to sync - I am using Evernote for the web on Firefox (latest version) and on Windows. I only use it on the web so I'm not sure if syncing is applicable. All the syncing instructions I've found are for doing sync between desktop and web.
