Your dog was particularly angry about number 2!

I tend to use Omnioutliner when I want to do anything as detailed as your screencast captures. Sometimes you need to pick the best tool for the job.

Thanks for posting specific scenarios; I know it really helps them to reproduce the problems. I've seen it get a lot better over the past year or so that I've been using Evernote; even so, the occasional little glitch trips me up.

Ooh, I just tried to copy from OmnOutliner and paste into Evernote - those of a nervous disposition shouldn't try it. It's pretty ugly, but not all that surprising. I'm guessing the Omni product is using some form of mark up language that Evernote doesn't understand.

Posted two more screencasts of quirks in Evernote's handling of nested lists/outlining.

Sent these to Evernote Support. Haven't heard back, of course I never do, so not sure why I still try.

If you're a premium user and you file a support ticket, you are supposed to get a reply back from Support within one business day. If you're not, then you can get stuck in the queue. Regardless, thanks for taking the time to document the problems you're finding.

I must have been "stuck in the queue" since last August when I first began reporting these problems.

I will become a premium member when Evernote fixes these issues.

Please see my signature. If you received a case number, please post here & Dave/Heather/etal can track if/why you didn't receive a reply. If you didn't receive a case number, then either you didn't use the proper channels or something interfered with the transmission when you pressed "send" & the transmission was not completed.

What would be nice is to have the Omnigroup work with Evernote to support integration with Evernote. Omnioutliner and OmniGraffle would be two great candidates to start. Omni has docs on their exporting options here http://classic.omnigroup.com/Documentation/OmniOutliner/Topics/Export.html
