(Archived) How to insert image in my post here in the Forum?

I see the tags Img but how do I use it ?

I would like to be able to insert images here in my posts for the Forum

I'm sure I'm going to regret this.....but.....upload your image to a hosting site and then copy the forum link that it provides between the two image tags.

Click the Post reply button and then scroll down a bit. Below the 'window' where you type a reply there is a 'tab' called 'Upload Attachment'. Use that.

Uploading attachment is not what I want. Nor linking to another site. I want to insert an image.

I see the tag is an option here, but it seems to be of no value.

Using Upload Attachment ends up with the image itself, not just a file attachment.

Here is a detailed protocol:

Write your post

Open the 'Upload Attachment' dialog at the bottom.

'Browse' to your file and 'Open' it.

Add 'Comment' (textual name, explanation, etc.)

'Add the file'

Set the cursor at the desired location of the image

'Place inline'

Check 'Preview' - you should see the image

'Submit'
