Level 5* Metrodon 2,188 Posted March 25, 2011 Level 5* Share Posted March 25, 2011 There isn't one for Mac, here is a list of the available shortcuts - https://www.evernote.com/about/kb/artic ... ts?lang=enI use an app called TextExpander to do keyboard shortcuts. Link to comment
parallax1 0
Odd, it is there in the Windows version...I guess I will see if there is a way to request a feature? Link to comment
Level 5* Metrodon 2,188 Posted March 25, 2011 Level 5* Share Posted March 25, 2011 Evernote people read all the posts on here so you can consider it already requested.Just out of interest, is that a Windows shortcut that is available to all applications? Or just in Evernote? Link to comment
parallax1 0
As far as I know, it's evernote specific - I'm hoping never to turn on my windows machine again, so I don't want to double check! At the very least, it is listed as a keyboard shortcut on the windows shortcut page for evernote.I can't tell you how useful it has been to be able to quote back to someone "actually, yes, we discussed that on the meeting we had on March 18th at 9 AM" Link to comment
Level 5* Metrodon 2,188 Posted March 25, 2011 Level 5* Share Posted March 25, 2011 Take a look at TextExpander - i use it for loads of stuff like date and time, different email signatures etc. Link to comment
Philip Constantinou 11
Thanks. Currently inserting a date is Windows specific. We'll add it to the Mac feature list. Link to comment
De Lux 0
Any progress on a date stamp shortcut for the Mac? I would use this feature every time I start a note. Link to comment
dbmilam 1
Another vote for adding time/date stamp feature to Mac version. Previously I used the Windows version and this was very helpful. Link to comment
Ninafel 9
ALT SHIFT D gives you the date time stamp. Link to comment
Ninafel 9
Woops, sorry; I see that's for the PC only. Link to comment
tangible 0
Not to be cynical, but, "We'll add it to the feature list" is exactly what the support people said about this in 2009. It couldn't take more than an hour of a developer's time to add this very helpful functionality, which has existed in the Windows version for years, to the Mac. Link to comment
sososowhat 0
Absolutely Agree: This is sorely missing from the Mac version. Please, guys, can you add this soon? Link to comment
