Philosofy 1
I use Evernote for work, and we will be re-aligning sales territories. Is there a way I can export my notes to someone who may not be using Evernote? Individually emailing notes would be too cumbersome. Link to comment
BurgersNFries 2,407
If they won't be using Evernote, then you can export them to html. With the various file types that can be stored in Evernote, that's the best way to export notes while preserving any attachments. Link to comment
engberg 89
From either desktop client, you can right-click on a note or on a notebook and Export it. If you choose the HTML format, then it will be visible by non-Evernote users. Link to comment
Philosofy 1
Can I do that with whole notebooks? We're talking hundreds of notes here! Would I be better off getting them to use Evernote for this archived material? Link to comment
Philosofy 1
Also, if I send him a ton of notes, does that use up all his monthly bandwidth? Link to comment
Level 5* jefito 5,598 Posted March 21, 2011 Level 5* Share Posted March 21, 2011 In the Windows client, you can click on a notebook and use the "Export Notes..." option. Link to comment
engberg 89
Yes, you can right-click on a Notebook to export the whole thing. This doesn't affect your own quota, but if someone then Imports those notes into their own Evernote account and synchronizes those to their server, then it will use their upload quota to add those notes to their account.
