How do I search for files

For example, PDF files

It would be nice to have a PDF link, but until it is added, you will need to search using:

• resource:application/pdf

Here are some others that I believe work correctly:

• Doc files: resource:application/msword (does not find .docx files)
  Excel files: resource:application/vnd.ms-excel
  Word files: resource:application/msword
  Zip files: resource:application/x-zip-compressed
  

You can search by filename, but it only works for the beginning of the name, e.g.,

• filename:xyz*
  will find filenames that start with "xyz".

I stored these sort of tips in Evernote for handy reference.
