themoules 3 Posted June 1, 2008 Share Posted June 1, 2008 Can any one please help with the syntax for searching accross multiple notebooks for the string joe bloggs.The help page doesn't cover multiple notebooks....The syntax below doesn't work - Am I even close? :? notebook:work notebook:journal notebook:admin "joe bloggs" I have also tried any: at the front of the query but still no luck........Help please. engberg 89 Posted June 1, 2008 Share Posted June 1, 2008 If you make a Saved Search without any "notebook:..." clauses, then it will search across all of your notebooks.The grammar and the UI allow you to search in a single notebook, or in all notebooks. You can't specify a list of notebooks, since this would yield 0 notes (since there are 0 notes that are in two different notebooks). Link to comment
