I am getting the above warning when I try to sync. Have checked EvernoteStatus, but there is no report there, so I wonder whether this is a local problem or are others experiencing it?
I am writing this from Norway, near Oslo.

Edit: NB! This is happening on Evernote for Mac 2.0.5 Beta 1. I have restarted the Mac and it still happens, however, my Macbook AIR is on version 2.0 and that works/syncs fine...
Stranger & stranger. I deleted the beta version and installed 2.0.4 from the web, restarted (quickly , but still I have the Synchronization Failure message. I wonder if reinstalling 2.0.4 left something behind from the beta version. Time to try Zapper I think.
I had to Zap Evernote completely such that it required my logging in and Evernote downloading a gigabyte plus of my data from the web. After all that was finished, syncing was restored OK What a game... decided to remove myself from the beta group.
