hukeli7 0 Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Hi,Does anyone know if it is possible to make the Google search engine index and discover my publicly shared EN notes? Sort of like publishing my public notes to the world like a blog? I tried adding my EN public link to http://www.google.com/addurl/but don't think it is working. This may be because the individual notes under the URL can't be discovered and indexed by Google's search engine. I am not sure. Hope someone can answer this for certain.
heather 604 Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Google *will* crawl your public notebook if you publish it to a search engine, or some site that will crawl it (like Twitter).http://www.google.com/#q=site:www.evern ... 7de8d5212aIt is not crawled simply by virtue of being a public notebook, however.
hukeli7 0 Posted February 26, 2011 Author Posted February 26, 2011 Thanks Heather. Do you know how to tell Google to crawl a public note?
heather 604 Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 It's all about the SEO. Post the link somewhere that already is being actively crawled, and Google will find it.http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index ... 143AA1ZSwg
