(Archived) Not able to use Incoming email address feature

I am not able to stimulate incoming email address feature. Everytime i send mail, it creates new note in account. I wanted to add content to existing note.

for eg. Me @Life #webaroo where Life is already existing note. But it create new note named with "Me @Life #webaroo".

Emailing notes directly to your Evernote account will always create a new note. You cannot add to an existing note. You can merge notes from a desktop client, though.

AFAIK, the @ signifies the notebook that you want the note to be created in. The # defines the tags. Both have to exist already, othersise they are ignored (I think)

So the note would be:

Subject:

@ #tag1 #tag2

Email Body: note contents...

Turns out I was wrong, title comes before notebook and tags...
