Using Applescript to enter a list in a note (using the "append" command), the \r, \t, and \n "escape" characters don't seem to work. The "return" word works a little, but not exactly correctly. If you supply one "return" word, there doesn't seem to be any effect on the text, which keeps wrapping from where it left off. If you insert two "return" words, then you get two real returns, but that means you've inserted a blank line where all you wanted was a new line. What's wrong?
