Not sure where to put this so I'll try here. Evernote has gotten way too noisy. Everytime I open it I get this invasive modal telling me what's new (mostly it's just minor stuff). While it's helpful for some to have the release notes, I guess, for most of us it's just a click tax where we need to dismiss it. The goal of using Evernote is not to be kept abreast of every single thing - it's to take notes. Let me open the app and make a note without constantly getting in my way or talking to me about the product, please.
Additionally, the notifications are equally pushy First, there's always a notification now. Second, there's already a little red dot thingy to indicate when there is a notification. And now there is ALSO a toast modal telling me that there is a red dot. The red dot IS the signal. You don't also need to add something else too that I then need to dismiss.
Updates are good. But Evernote needs to be less loud about every single that is changing.
