Evernote logo in app (desktop, possibly mobile)

I really like the Evernote elephant logo. But it is nowhere shown in the app.

Please add the logo to the GUI of the app(s).

Ideally give it some meaning/functionality, such as eg the Apple logo in the top left corner of the Mac OS

Oups - I'm working on Windows and there IS an icon in title bar of the APP - maybe it's an issue only on Apple systems?

But Your example show a screen shot of the forum which is not part of the EN app. The forum are not driven by EN itself and are based on a web service platform only. Nevertheless the icon is shown on each browser tab - also an issue only on Apple systems (Safari?)

The screenshot of the OP is from the web client. That's why the first menu is titled "Safari" in his case, because the browser is the active app. If I open the web client, it looks like this picture. (1) is the active app menu (Safari), (2) is the EN tab of the web client, with the EN symbol on the tab. (3) is the symbol of the EN Web Clipper (which is independent from the web client opened) and (4) is the symbol of the EN helper in the menu bar. This shows because I have the installed client open as well, and the menu bar option enabled.

If he would post a screenshot from the installed client, it would look like the following picture.

The first menu item (1) always carries the name of the active application - Mac standard. It is standard as well that the menus are always on top of the screen, not on the window like in Windows. If enabled in the menu bar the EN helper icon will show as well (2).

The screenshot I provided was to show how Apple is integrating the Apple logo in the Mac OS.

As one example of the integration of a logo in an app.

How the elephant logo is actually integrated is up to the designers to find a good way.

The rest of the screenshot is just Safari with this page.

The only company that is allowed to show their icon in that place on a Mac is (surprise, surprise) Apple.

Period, end of discussion.

The Apple menu on a Mac is always there, always available and is hosting essential system control functions. It can’t be touched or altered by any App.

As explained the next menu position is always showing the name of the currently active app. Switch apps, and the name changes. Under this menu are things like app settings, version numbers and other functions.

The next menus are sort of structured the same way (like File, Edit, View and so on, Help is always last), but depend on the options the active app is allowing.

This are MacOS UI basics.

Reading especially the last comment I already regret having posted my feature wish for the Evernote *app*.

Not the Mac OS, not Safari etc.

you are absolutely right.

before this gets out of hand and steals our time: you didn't read my proposal, it says nowhere that I want to add the logo to the Apple OS.

OK, so I made this for you: A nice Logo, coming with it's own menu when you click it:

Want to do it yourself ?

Click on the existing avatar beside your account name, choose "Account Info", go to profile. Save the EN logo from any website using it, save it to your drive, and now choose it as your avatar picture. Save the change, done.
