HI

I'm hoping someone can help remind me how to active the extra support tools in evernote windows, I recall that there was a key combination to active tools -like reindexing tool or something like that.

My evernote windows is becoming unusably slow and I'm starting to try anything to help make it work

simple reinstall done

reindex or tool to try next

next step install on another computer to see if it make a difference (is the problem local? or in the cloud?)

Upgrade current laptop with more ram

Fingers crossed

Any help is greatly appreciated

There is no reindexing tool for V10. I believe all indexing happens on the servers. There is an additional "trobleshooting" item that appears in help. (try alt+clicking help or ctrl+ clicking help). However, you will not find anything terribly useful.

If you are going to reinstall I would do a complete uninstall using something like Revo uninstaller (free) to make sure all traces of the program are removed.

These errors are usually, but not always caused by temporary files and cached pages not being cleaned out properly.

Try cleaning the temporary browser data and see how it goes. Also check to see if you get the errors when using a private browsing window or guest profile.
