Google Calendar Sync Only Working in One Direction

Hi, having the following issue:

Google calendar syncs from Evernote to Google, but not the other way around.
If I make any changes in Google, the only way I can see them in Evernote is to reconnect the service again.
Changes made to calendars from Evernote reflect immedialtey in Google.

Does anyone have a fix?

Is there a way to fully disconnect and reconnect?
Trying to disconnect via the three dots > Caledar Seetings > Disconnect, does not disconnect the calendar. I can still see everything and it still syncs one way.
When I look at connected services in Evernote, I can "Google Sign In" with a "Connect" button next to it.
If I click connect, it goes back to the Evernote interface, but if I go back into settings, it still says "Connect" rather than "Connected".
The Google Drive service says "Connected", but there's nothing specifically about calendars (I'm sure there used to be?).

Are we just going to be paying to be beta testers FOREVER?
