Lost ALL my notes since more than ONE YEAR

I hope someone can help me. 

I ve lost all my notes since one year and a half two days ago on evernote and impossible to find them back. They are very prercious for me Im really disappointed.

I had a password issue on a second device and then couldnt open my laptop version on evernote so decided to reinstall it. I never installed the new version or evernote V10 it was version 6 21 2 . On webversion when i open my account there are notes only from february 2023, like all my notes since that were not synchronized. Although two days ago all my notes were there on the laptop version 6 , but now whatever i do, on webversion, device, or the new version i have the note only from 2023. Its like they disappeared. I tried to reinstall the version 6 21 2 bt it says i can't have this version (but it worked 2 days ago so why ???) I tried to reinstaure my system from before the installation of new version, doesnt work as well. 

I also tried to find on the data bases , to import them but its not written in arabic letters i don't understand. Is it the files .exb.cardviews ? How can I do ? I really suck in computer things. 

I also really need help, its all my notes since the birth of my child and so precious for me. 

I read somehwere that it was a problem version 6 closed for version 10 because of data protection but I never had a message informing me of that and didnt know that my notes were not synchronized all that long.. 

Thank you for your help, I read a lot of forums, but can't apply the advices , even with "import the data bases" i don't have the tab on the evrnote saying that...

The old v6 versions of Evernote were withdrawn sometime ago and ceased to work with Evernote from last March. This was widely reported. Any notes created since then were stored only on your local machine and not synchronised to the cloud. So they will not have been available in the cloud unless they were created and synchronised before March.

So, in addition to the help pages @gazumped points to, you may have lost anything created recently. The same @gazumped has posted some help on recovering the locally held data and he may be able to point you to that. Otherwise I fear that anything from Match will be lost.

The help of @gazumpedis about the logging account, but i tried and no other account exists. 

I understand that possibly all notes from march are not on the cloud. But it appears that it is all notes from 2023 that disappeared. 

If all this notes were not sync on the cloud (and really i absolutly ignored the versions things and that it will cease ..) are'nt they somewhere on my desk / laptop ? where is it stored on my "local machine" ? how to restaure them from the machine ? I found a file .exb on C// USER // EVERNOTE but how to use it and "import" it on my new version of evernote ? 

 

Please help me and tell me if its not sync 

1/ evernote cannot refind all these notes ? 

2/ on the local machine if they exist can we extract them somewhere ? 

3/ if i reopen a last version of evernote , can i just re put all the local notes on it ?

Yes, they are likely on your desktop somewhere.  As @agsteele mentioned, @gazumped has posted possible ways to get that data back into Evernote in other threads.  What may seem simple to you is apparently not due to file formats and other technical differences in the two clients.  Your best option is to look at gazumped's past posts to see what you can find.  And beware, trying what he suggests takes you into the innerworkings of your file system and Evernote and is not for the faint of heart.  You aren't alone in having this problem so there is a lot about it elsewhere on this forum.  You perhaps are in a unique position for the length of time that has gone by since V 6 became inoperable.

My guess is that unless those notes contain something really essential, you will find it not worth the trouble.

Say my name four times...  As others have intimated,  Evernote v6 saved its notes locally in a file called <AccountName.EXB> so if you still have one of these on your system,  and can find the installer for a v6 version,  there is a process you can follow to extract the data file contents to <NotebookName.ENEX> files (one per notebook) which can then be imported into your v10 account.  The details are here...

these notes are essential otherwise i wouldn't try so hard. And im sorry my english is not perfect, and als my competence in informatic..

I tried the help susmentionned but on the topic its only about an other account where the notes would be. And I don't find other topic with my specific problem (that i don't really know to define.) 

the last question i had is that if my notes are on my desk in a specific format (databases i found a version . exb ) how to re import it ? Or where exactly i can find some help with this kind of format 

I have .exb different files where it seems my notes are, but when i click and open in for example in the bloc note its like "chineese" but i can see some parts of my notes recent . 

my question is : this file .exb , how to re-put it on evernote, is it possible to import and have all the notes back or not ? and if yes, how to do it ?

BUT , to make it possible you think i absolutely have to re install a V6 on the computer ? Then how to do it since every V6 I try to install says "you cannot install , a more recent version is available".

 

Thank you again for your help. Those notes are all my writting work since 2 years for a book.(yes i was not precautional, i absolutely suck with this, and tought evernote was a logiciel on my computer no matter sync, cloud, i had it on the computer so was not carefull...)
