Notes not typing on Android phone (esp. when on bulleted list)

I have a problem where if I am using the bulleted list function, the typing (i.e keyboard) stops working halfway through.

I must back out of typing mode, then resume typing... of which then the issue happens again, and I repeat.

I don't experience it on my Windows client though.

Anyone else facing the same issue?
