Paddy Paddy 19
Right now, I can't "copy" the contents of the Table Of Contents (which is automatically generated). Since the TOC rolls up the main headings of a note, it would be helpful to be able to copy and paste the contents for use elsewhere Link to comment

Now, while you can copy and paste the ToC within the same note, you can't put it elsewhere or into another app. A work around might be to take a screen shot and paste the screen shot wherever you need it. I experimented with using the transcribe function to give me the text but for some reason the transcribe process ignored the numbers and letters, so would still need some editing. UPDATE. If you then copy and paste the transcribed text into a numbered list you only have to manually add a few <tabs> to get the same indentation as the original. Link to comment
0 Wilf Forrow 15
On my Mac, I use the brilliant TextSniper to scrape text off the screen with OCR, and it works well, although obviously you lose the links and you have to re-input the tab indentation. I'm sure Windows has similar tools. Link to comment

It worked perfectly on the new TOC. Problem solved. Link to comment
