Integrate Notes under Notebooks in the Navigation Pane.

I would like to see my Notes listed below the Notebooks in a single collapsible navigation pane.
This would leave more real estate for the contents of the selected note.

You can always switch views, expanding the note when needed.

Notes in the side bar is unusable to the max - thousands of notes in a list view are nothing that would help navigate.

Click on any notebook, and you get these notes listed in the middle panel

The middle panel [notes list] is the one that wastes a lot of real estate when viewing a specific notes.

What do you mean by "switch views"?

I just discovered the "Open in new window" option.
That will be my work-around for needing a wider view.

See the 2 diagonal arrows top left of the note.

It expands the note to full app view.

And - as you discovered - you can open any note in its own window.
