AlbertR 689
Problem Description Saved Searches cannot be changed Only the title is, not the content (search pattern) There is no way to delete already defined Saved Searches <edit> There are complicated ways to delete them 😉</edit> Expected behaviour Especially the search string has to be editable (maybe like in Legacy versions) A command to delete a Saved Search should be implemented Either in a RClick command on a Saved Search or within in (this time not existing) left tree leaf "Saved Searches" in left pane... Workaround use Legacy until 22.03.24 <edit>Sorry, time is over 😞, Legacy-Genealogists may look at an other discussion </edit> Saved Searches are part of synced metadata of an account. So new searches from EN10 appear in Legacy and Legacy's changes are synced back to EN10 in EN10 you might save this as a new Saved Search with a new name try to execute the old Saved Search to be able to change it's name to something like "<current name>-deleted" execute the newly Saved Search to be able to change its's name to the old one. <edit> execute the old Saved Search, click on the tree-dots menue and select Delete... </edit> Link to comment
0 thefryhole 91
In Windows Desktop, if you use "edit saved search" and click "save to shortcuts," you can then go to the shortcut, right-click and select "delete." There may be a faster way to delete a saved search but that's the only way I know of. I agree that the inability to edit a saved search is nonsense and I really can't fathom why such an oversight made it into production. Link to comment

Some advanced search syntax is "converted" into blue filter lozenges which is annoying but I personally can still work with that. Link to comment

0 Mike P 2,958
One little addendum. Sometimes, if your saved search has no results it appears that neither of the ways of deleting the search outlined above work. You need to modify an existing note or create a note so that it meets the search criteria (if you can) and then re-run the search. Link to comment
