"Stay up to date!" alert - Kill it.

At the top left of the app (on Mac) is a prominent icon of an alarm bell coupled with a red circle with a number in, to show how many alerts there are.

Would the genius who thought this needed an annoying popup with "Stay up to date!" and the message "You have number unread notifications", which needs a click on an X to close it, please reconsider its utility.

Or is there a way to prevent it? I checked the options and couldn't find anything.

I see a small bell next to my name.  Prominent 🤷‍♂️?  Some actually may want to read about what has been updated.  For those who don't, an option to disable in-app notifications would be helpful.  Until then, either ignore it or take a few seconds to click through what is new and get on with your life.  I would suggest that Evernote has bigger issues to focus on at the moment than a minor annoyance to a few.

It looks like they have improved notifications in the latest update.
