Adding tasks is slow

I've noticed that after typing the task and pressing the arrow to submit it, the app takes 3 or 4 seconds to show the message indicating that the task has been added.

At first, I pressed the button multiple times, which caused the same task to be added several times until I realized what was happening.

In any case, I think task entry should be more responsive and not take so long. I'm using a Motorola G20 phone.
