jkp1024 0
I love the new Daily Journal thing, so thank you so much, Evernote, for creating that thing. That was one of the features I wanted the most in Evernote because I wanted a similar experience to the one I have in Roam Research. However, the templates loaded when they were created daily are not helpful and are somewhat messy. I couldn't seem to find a way not to have a template. Currently, you have to choose one template from among three. Is there a way that I can make an empty note for my daily journal? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,070 Posted August 14 Level 5* Share Posted August 14 Hi. Mainly other users here - there's no scope to have your own template with the app, but you can always create the format you want in another note and delete the daily note content to replace it with your own... feedback@evernote.com if you'd like to suggest user templates to the company. Solution Jon/t 1,659 Posted August 14 Solution Share Posted August 14 Workaround at the moment is a quick CTRL+A and Delete which removed the template contents pretty quickly. If you want you can also add a template from your custom gallery which is what I do. Hopefully being able to set a different template will come soon. 1 Link to comment
jkp1024 0
Thank you, guys. My ideal daily note is an empty one without any templates. Right now, I am deleting the templates as Jon suggested, but it would be great if daily notes could be loaded without any template. Link to comment

For this I don't need a Daily Note starter. From the general view I think choosing an own template would be an important improvement. Link to comment
