Will18 0
Hey guys, Since updating to the latest 10.98.3-mac-ddl-public (20240725174632) Editor: v178.18.2, Service: v2.2.10, the keyboard shortcuts for ‘edit tag’ don't work anymore. No matter what I change the keyboard short cut to, it doesn't work. I have to click on the icon instead to edit the tags. All the other keyboard shortcut for other functions work fine. Is this a known issue? Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,808 Posted July 29 Level 5 Share Posted July 29 ctrl-opt-cmd-T works for me - which is the standard keyboard shortcut for Edit Tag. We often see functional problems with the AppStore version of the app. It is running sandboxed, which restricts interactions with the OS. Link to comment

The menu becomes unreponsive and the associated keyboard shortcxuts, of which there are quite a few, also don't work. Edit tags is in this menu so you could confirm by opening the note menu and see if it works. Screen shot from windows but it will be very similar on mac. This has been an issue from sometime but seems to be much worse since thay added the keyboard shortcut for Open in New Window. There are a few ways that are guaranteed to put the menu into this state but none that are guaranteed to put it right again. 1 Link to comment
Chris Eller 15
Keyboard shortcuts are not working for me, either. I am on a Mac running version 10.98.3. It seems the latest update created the bug. I *think* it is the Option key that is not working as keyboard shortcuts that do not require the Option key seem to work. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,808 Posted July 29 Level 5 Share Posted July 29 I am on 10.98.3, and it’s working for me. If you can isolate the issue to the opt-key, maybe your keyboard layout somehow got compromised. I would first try a logout from EN, followed by a restart of the Mac, and then a login to EN. If this doesn’t help contact support, when asked send them an activity log with all the login steps. Link to comment
VincentC 347
Consistent with @MikeP's theory, several people on my other Evernote-related platform are having intermittent performance from the Move shortcut. Move is in that same Note submenu. For me the Move shortcut works about 20% of the time. The menu command, not the shortcut works flawlessly. For me, the delete note shortcut (DEL) is also flakey - that that too is on that same submenu. Vinnie 1 Link to comment

Hey Mike, I just tried it out - the 'Note' dropdown is greyed out and the shortcut doesn't work. All the other Dropdown menus are Black and usable, just not this 'Note' one. I'm using the latest Mac EN version downloaded from their website. This problem has only appeared since the last update a day or two ago. Link to comment
Will18 0
Interesting - All the other keyboard shortcuts including the keyboard shortcut for 'Add Tag' work perfectly. Just not the Edit Tag shortcut. To Edit the tags now, I have to use the pop up click menu. Link to comment
