i have been trying to reduce / get back space on my mac.  the analyzer found a 1.7 gb file for evernote -- its dated 18 months ago ..

path

\Users\*me\Library\Containers\com.evernote.Evernote\Data\Library\Application Support\Evernote\conduit-storage\https%3A%2F%2Fwww.evernote.com

are these temp files in here?? or in use -- i figure due to date may be temp files... and if so .. can i delete / clean up?

To clean up, quit the app. Now use the app AppCleaner to remove everything from your Mac. Restart, reinstall, log in.

Now keep the client active for some time (can be in the background) to let it download all it needs.

What you get is a minimal - functional install,

You could further reduce it by moving the database to an external drive (SSD), or install without a local copy. Without a local copy you will suffer some drop in performance.
