Notes not appear in Tags

My new notes, since July, are NOT appearing in the tags.  The attached file shows you want's wrong.

 

How do I fix it?

Hi.  No disrespect,  but I do NOT open random DOCX files.  If that contains images,  please find out how to attach them to your post.  Plus you posted about tagging issues at the beginning of this month - is this a different issue?  Were the previous comments helpful?

I have a tag called “Nicole 1x1.”  It contains most of the notes in this category.

 

However, I had a meeting with Nicole on Tuesday (7/23/2024), which is tagged as Nicole 1x1 (see screen print #1 below).

but, the 723/2024 note does not appear in the Nicole 1x1 tag (see screen print #2).

 

Why not?

Sorry for the delay - was trying out various tag processes to try and emulate this - no luck so far.  If this is still an issue I can only suggest you contact Support (which is not us - mainly other users here).  There are various ways to 'force' a re-sync,  up to and including signing out of the app and restarting your device(s), and if your search index has been corrupted in some way,  a full uninstall with Revo Uninstaller (Windows) or Appcleaner (Mac) followed by a restart / reinstall would fix things.

Less intensively,  you could try setting up a specific notebook for these notes so you have a permanent listing,  or maybe create a 'parent' note from which it is easy to add new child notes as you build up a Table of Contents for related subjects...

Thanks. I did go through all the steps you outlined. The problem persists. I have contacted Evernote Support several days ago no reply.

I did receive suggestions. I tried them all, but the problem persists. I did submit a ticket to Evernote, but never heard back from them.

 

Now, I am faced with another problem.  Evernote web and Evernote PC do not connect reliably through my works VDI. Evernote is not blocked, per se, but getting connected is "iffy" or takes a long, long time. I switched to OneNote for work and downgraded my subscription to Evernote because I only use Evernote for personal reasons.

I have a very similar problem, but cannot tell since when the tagged notes are not shown anymore. I have some July notes, which are shown. Already opened a ticket, let's see.

PS I have this in the web version as well, so I suppose it's not a local issue I have?

Evernote are currently working on RENT which will improve the syncing of note metadata including tags.  It's probably best to find a workaround for any current tag issues and await developments...

Appreciated, unfortunately that does not really help with old tagged notes which I cannot find now (hopefully for the moment).

Interestingly it works on iOS.
