bombi77 1
Hi, I use the synchronize folder function to automatically import invoices from a selected folder on my computer. Invoices from an online portal are automatically saved in this folder. These are imported by Evernote and a new note is automatically created. But if I don't delete these files from the folder immediately, they are imported again a short time later and I end up with a lot of duplicates. Is there a solution to this? Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,829 Posted July 18 Level 5 Share Posted July 18 We had something similar: The automatic job looked up the synced folder, probably to check if a certain document had been imported already. This caused the import folder job to see the file as new, and import it again. Maybe that’s a comparable case. Link to comment
bombi77 1
Hi, this folder contains invoices that are automatically saved there by the website "getmyinvoices". Evernote should then synchronize and save these invoices from this folder. But it should be expected that Evernote recognizes which invoices have already been imported and does not import the same invoices again minutes later. Could it be because the sync folder is on Dropbox? Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,829 Posted July 18 Level 5 Share Posted July 18 I don’t think cloud folders are an acceptable place. Too much syncing processes going on for a clear picture. Link to comment
