Kuba34567 0 Posted July 16 Posted July 16 I have second factor enabled on my account. I use Microsoft Authenticator. I am trying to log in to Evernote on Android 14. 1. I click "Login" in the mobile Evernote appp 2. I'm presented with username entry. I enter the username and confirm. 3. I'm presented with password entry. I enter the password and confirm. 4. I'm presented with authentication code entry. I switch to Microsoft Authenticator and check the code. Then I switch back to Evernote. 5. I am back at the start page and have to enter username and password again. Now, I have to remember the code and have max 30 seconds to enter my username, then password and then code Expected behavior: after switching back to Evernote in step 5, I should be able to enter the code without re-entering username and pasword
Level 5 PinkElephant 9,003 Posted July 16 Level 5 Posted July 16 The expected behavior is the actual behavior, at least on iOS. Once you are in, check in EN app settings, Passcode if you can enable a Passcode or Face/Touch-ID. This should avoid a new full login.
Evernote Expert agsteele 3,072 Posted July 16 Evernote Expert Posted July 16 I agree that this is difficult on Android 14. I worked it out by waiting until the 2FA codes changed in the authenticator app. I remembered the cider and rapidly logged in. You have to about 90s. Once the log on is complete it is easier thereafter.
