Completed Tasks Appearing in Tasks Lists Regardless of Filter

I prefer to use Evernote Web using Chrome. Both Evernote and Chrome are the current versions.  The completed tasks are appearing regardless of the completed tasks filters. I submitted a ticket a couple of weeks ago but no resolution.  I've cleared the cache and logged out/back in several times but it did not fix the issue. Any ideas on how to hide completed tasks is appreciated.  I can use the app but not idea for the way I work. Thank you.
