halriko544 7
The marking of a note in the list view is barely visible. The worse the screen, the worse. Either we need a different color to create more contrast or we should be able to choose the color ourselves in the options. See here Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,841 Posted July 2 Level 5 Share Posted July 2 The UI decisions has been discussed already. You can only try to play with your monitor settings and see if dark mode changes visibility. Oh, yes, didn’t I mention it ? There is dark mode available on the Windows version of v10 since it launched, a feature dearly requested but never delivered for the old EN clients. Link to comment
johnyone 6
I also have this problem but much worse than example posted by Halriko. Since the last upgrade I literally can see no difference between marked and unmarked items in lists. Running latest version of Evernote 10.94.3 on M1 Mac running Sonoma 14.5 Have played around with Display settings ( including dark mode) but anything that gives any improvement renders other Apps difficult. Have got to the stage where I avoid EN sessions and the backlog is building! HELP!! Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,841 Posted July 6 Level 5 Share Posted July 6 Actually the selection in dark mode is slightly more differentiated than in light mode. Which is not by much, both are sort of hard to tell. For me it's still OK, but if somebody has a bad eyesight, it is probably indiscernible. Link to comment
johnyone 6
Thanks PE. Fast approaching 80 my eyesight is probably not brilliant but I have no probs with any other App/Website and I pay quite a lot of money for this one!! Perhaps EN will realise there is a problem. Link to comment
