Level 5 Dave-in-Decatur 4,014 Posted July 1 Level 5 Posted July 1 Interface foul ups continue. In v. 10.94.1 (aside from the ongoing problem opening links if your default browser is Opera) there is no longer an Edit button when you are viewing a note. You tap in the note (or double tap if you have Edit protection selected in the Notes settings) if you want to edit it. This I take it is to accommodate the new "floating buttons," which are the same as on the Notes list, or any other beginning point. This may make navigation easier, but the loss of the Edit button is disconcerting and seems unnecessary.
Jon/t 1,745 Posted July 2 Posted July 2 @gazumped more Ai generated link spam! @Dave-in-Decatur when you're viewing a note can you tap where you want to edit and all the edit bits show up? This is how its working on my Android which is kind of what I expect.
Level 5 Dave-in-Decatur 4,014 Posted July 6 Author Level 5 Posted July 6 Yes, tap (or double tap if you have Edit protection selected) to edit. But the Edit button was a nice alternative, and for a new user the tap method may only be discovered by accident.
