Sync Evernote Calendar with Apple Calendar

Recommended Posts

Posted

I've tried searching Evernote's Help Center and the web, but I can't find a way to get Apple Calendar events to sync with Evernote events, and vice versa.

Is this possible and if not, how could that be for an app that runs native on Mac, iOS, etc?

Thanks.

Last month you mentioned about adding iCloud integration (4:32 in June update) during July - is this coming during August or are you awaiting the next Mac OS Sequoia release.

Hi. It's now 5.5 months later. Obviously, it's "not there." We request the developers to post an update: level of priority and expected launch date. Thanks in advance!

There are no developers here, only other users.  It would be best to send your request to [email protected], but I wouldn’t hold my breath.  They rarely preannounce unless something is imminent.  IIRC they ran into an issue on this one that pushed it out, and maybe got it reprioritized.  I believe it is still in plan … eventually.

You can use the workaround via Google:

-----------------------------------------

'Can I connect Apple Calendar?

Evernote currently supports Google and Outlook integrations. Apple Calendar integration isn't available for the time being, but you can follow this quick workaround to add your Apple Calendar via Google Calendar:

  1. Ensure your iCloud Calendar Sync is active. Head to iCloud Settings, select your name, and toggle on "Calendars."
  2. Make sure you have already linked your Google Calendar to Evernote.
  3. In your Apple Calendar, select the calendar you wish to share and click the share icon. Enable the 'Public Calendar' option and copy the provided URL.
  4. Head over to Google Calendar and find 'Other Calendars' in the sidebar. Click the '+' icon, choose 'From URL,' and paste the URL you copied from your Apple Calendar. Click 'Add Calendar' to complete the connection. You can rename it to match the one in your Apple Calendar.
  5. In Evernote, access the Calendar widget settings by clicking the three dots. Select 'Choose Calendars' and toggle on the Apple calendar. Now, your Apple Calendar events will appear within Evernote.

It works fine (but am still hoping for iCloud and EN to sync 😉).
