A pop up of uncompleted tasks within a note

Bob R

Idea

Especially helpful for long notes where tasks could be buried in multiple pages.

At the top we see this button that shows only a count of completed tasks/total tasks

If we could click (or right click) on this button to show a summary list of the uncompleted tasks that would be awesome (or maybe when you click it, you get the option to select to view the completed or uncompleted tasks in a summary list)

thx

Good idea! From a UI perspective it should work like the backlinks button

If you click on it, a small submenue should open. If you click on a task therein, the cursor might jump to the appropriate task within the note.

I can see why this might be helpful. It could just open the tasks view with that note selected. If I needed that functionailty at the moment I would probably filter the notes tab of the tasks view using the name of the note.

Thanks @Mike P - That's a good recommendation!  That also allows me the option to view completed notes (within the same note).  The results are exactly what I was looking for.

Maybe they could just make a click on the purple open task button (at top of an open note) which would bring us to the same screen you suggested.

I appreciate everyone's input!
