Evernote (10.93.2) on new PC - terribly slow laggy with text input

Hi everyone, I bought a new Windows PC yesterday.

I installed Evernote to get all my notes back but found everything to be extremely laggy.

Every keystroke I input has a noticeable lag. I did a comparison with my smartphone app, and even it was much faster than my PC's text input.

I noticed it is the latest version as well: v10.93.2.

Any idea what can be the issue? Bad installation etc.?

Could be a dodgy install but I'd give it a few days to sync all your notes from the cloud and index them for search. 

If it's not sped up in a couple of days try a reinstall. 

Generally the windows client is pretty snappy and there shouldn't be keyboard lag.

This seems to beg the question, “How new is the PC?” In other words, has the Evernote Windows offering been tested on the new Snapdragon X (Elite) PC architecture?
