Mike P 3,425 Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 Well the promised code syntax highlighting is here (10.91.1). It doesn't have my favourite language, but I can live with that. The problem (and there always is a problem with EN releases) is that they decided to extend spellchecking to the code block As soon as you edit a note (you don't need to actually click inside the code block) the red appears.

Evernote Expert Jon/t 1,990 Posted June 4, 2024 Evernote Expert Posted June 4, 2024 Just noticed this and mentioned it... CSS seems OK but PHP and JavaScript has the squiggles. Been waiting for this for ages! Looks great. 1

Thorz 148 Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 I hope they let us disable code syntax highlighting in settings for the ones of us who don't need the feature. All my code blocks have become a visual mess after the latest version update in Mac and iOS.
DShadravan 0 Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 Cool new feature, but I agree the spell checking in code is annoying.
Evernote Expert agsteele 3,134 Posted June 5, 2024 Evernote Expert Posted June 5, 2024 The spellcheck issue in code blocks is already fixed and pending release. 2
Solution Mike P 3,425 Posted June 6, 2024 Author Solution Posted June 6, 2024 Seems to be fixed in 10.91.2 1
