EN desktop win -- disapeared, then can't install anymore

Hi

Evernote crashed today then disapeared from my application folder.

Now there is nothing to desinstall, revo isn't showing anything, yet the shortcut stayed in the windows menu. Clicking the shortcut doesn't do anything

I'm trying to install the latest version, the installer isn't launching

I'm running win10, please somebody help, I had many troubles updating EN recently

I presume you have rebooted the PC.

Have a look in the AppData folder for your username on the PC... On Win 11 its C drive...Users..AppData and its a hidden folder.

Under Local there's an Evernote-client-updater folder and under Roaming there's an Evernote folder.

Removing these should get rid of any config files and corrupted data. You should be able to reinstall and download all your notes from the cloud.

Just check on the web version of Evernote to make sure everything is sync'd OK and you can see all your notes.

I cleaned the app data folder. There were EN files under Local, LocalLow and Roaming. At first it didn't do the job but after rebooting the pc I could reinstall and find all my notes

it just disappeared again ...
