DocZander 0 Posted May 26, 2024 Posted May 26, 2024 Since I updated to macos sonoma 14.5 clipping (Version: 7.35.0.1d54e7c) in the most cases does not work anymore - this is very annoying. Problems occure in Crome and Brave.
Evernote Expert gazumped 12,634 Posted May 31, 2024 Evernote Expert Posted May 31, 2024 There's a known issue with Brave - see other threads here and in their forums for discussion. Brave's security is a little too good at restricting access for users.
wernerfromvienna 0 Posted May 31, 2024 Posted May 31, 2024 Will Evernote be able to resolve this? Until MacOS 14.4 the web clipper just worked fine in Brave browser.
pinemeadows 3 Posted May 31, 2024 Posted May 31, 2024 I have no answers but I can't clip images or even entire pages - which makes me think basically I can't clip anything. It creates a note in EN but it just says web clip. I'm using Chrome and Firefox - also tried this in Safari since I'm on a Mac..i. Nothing works. Why am I even paying for this????
Level 5 PinkElephant 9,253 Posted May 31, 2024 Level 5 Posted May 31, 2024 Clipped with Web Clipper 7.35.0 on my Mac Sonoma 14.5 using Safari 17.5, Screenshot mode. Working without an issue, including annotations. Make sure Popup windows are enabled for Evernote.com, since WebClipper uses them to log in before clipping for the first time.
