It worked unreliably, and no it stopped working completely.

Since web clipper ist not working as well I am in deep trouble now that there is no fast way to create a note. Manual editing in the app is VERY slow ...

Windows 10 with 10.87.6

Completely agree that this is unreliable and comes and goes with each release of V10. Fortunately for me it is currently working. I don't believe the version number you quoted. I am 10.89.2.

Thank you - and you are absolutely right about the above quoted version number, a dot was in the wrong place ;-)
Still my 10.87.6 seems to be the highest available to me :(

"Check for updates" is notoriously unreliable. You can just go to https://evernote.com/download and download from there.

Thank you so much - I just updated to 10.89.2.

And I was able to use strg-alt-v succesfully!

One time :(
... let's see if it recovers ...

Here is the news now: everytime I copy-paste with alt-ctrl-v a new note appears in the windows client - and disappears immediately aftwerwards. What?

It is nowhere, not in trash, not in search, nada :(

On the Mac it is ctrl-cmd-V. It takes what is on the OS clipboard, and creates a new note from it.

Works fine, the note is created in the default notebook. Does work with all sort of content, like files, not only with text. In case of a file the new note will hold the file as attachment.

If something is not working, the first loop to try to make it run is to log out, quit the app, restart it and log back in.

Right now it seems to work with 10.89.2 ... let's see if this holds up with the next update ...
