scotghh23 0
I have recently stepped back up my subscription to personal and am trying to connect my Google drive on my Mac to Evernote. Having tried a number of times to do this (using Mac client, iOS client and web) I continue to get the ‘Oops we encountered an error’ message from Evernote. I can follow the Google authentication flow from Evernote (allow access etc) and then when I click the final option I get the Evernote error. Any thoughts on how to help fix? Link to comment

Evernote Expert agsteele 3,059 Posted March 29 Evernote Expert Share Posted March 29 Sorry to hear that. I was half expecting that you would have a slightly older version of the desktop app which had a problem just as you described. I'm a Windows user and can only say that I don't have the issue described on v10.82.2 If I was affected I think I would uninstall the application using the AppCleaner program for MacOS. This will give a thorough deep clean of your Evernote installation. Then download the program from evernote.com/download and reinstall. Avoid the Mac Store version which has regular challenges. Once reinstalled it will take awhile to rebuild your local data from the Evernote servers. In the meantime you will still be able to access notes - they will simply load from the Cloud instead of the local version. See if that resolves this issue for you. Link to comment
