Pick a note widget

It would be good on iOS to create a widget and connect it to a single note. This could be good for weekly goals or shopping list.

How about adding the shortcuts widget, and one of your shortcuts can be to the specific note you want?

Yes that works as a workaround but I would really prefer to have a widget option where the text is also visible.

You still need to tap on it either way.  Change the shortcut name to something meaningful to you that you can on a phone screen. Not exactly what you want, but pretty close.  If you use the Home Screen you can highlight a single note.
