JWrobinson1 2
I don't have an option to toggle the view like some old posts mention. I have to use task manager to end the task to make the window go away. This is, obviously, not optimal. Please help! 1 Link to comment
Mike P 2,966
Is it just that you are in full screen mode? F11 toggles between the normal and full screen view. (or View 🢂 Toggle full screen) 1 1 Link to comment
offbelay 1
I am having the same issue. I am not in full screen mode, and toggling it via F11 does not help. There should be a windows title bar with minimize, maximize, and close buttons. See the attached screenshot. Thanks! 1 Link to comment
Level 5 Dave-in-Decatur 4,006 Posted February 16 Level 5 Share Posted February 16 The only way I can get that to happen is to use F11 or the View menu to toggle full screen view; then I see exactly what y'all are seeing. If that's not it, possibly signing out and signing back in, or even restarting the computer, might fix it. Link to comment
JWrobinson1 2
I am not in full screen mode. Note the Milky Way showing above the tea mug? That's from my desktop. Link to comment

This started happening after the last update. It's like Evernote doesn't want me to ever close their window. (And, no, I'm not in fullscreen mode.) Link to comment

Level 5 Solution Dave-in-Decatur 4,006 Posted February 26 Level 5 Solution Share Posted February 26 Thanks for the clarification. Honestly, I'm stumped at that point. I hate to suggest uninstalling (with Revo Uninstall) and reinstalling with a freshdownload from https://evernote.com/download, but that may be the next move. Link to comment

That's probably all I can do. 1 Link to comment
Level 5 Dave-in-Decatur 4,006 Posted February 27 Level 5 Share Posted February 27 FWIW, others have reported the same problem: https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/150493-minimize-evernote/; https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/150515-cant-minimise-maximise-or-close-desktop-window/. msing 0
I also was a little annoyed because mine disappeared for the past few weeks as well. l In my case (windows 10) f11 did fix the problem. (but I want to point out that I never never use that function key and have never had any other software go to full screen by accident) Link to comment
