Note limit notice is wrong?

Vainpyre

Idea

Every time I try to make a new note, it comes up with this notice to make me upgrade, though I only have 2 notes. I also somehow have 2 notebooks when I should only have one, is this a bug or am I just doing something wrongIMG_8825.thumb.png.84d6bc4b8ebfcabe69ddff9a79c94f2d.pngIMG_8826.thumb.jpeg.42273039039c0f97f7d8a7b48ab37f9a.jpegIMG_8827.thumb.jpeg.f95d71a09d9399e807b33ff5951c9af6.jpeg

Hi, and welcome to the forums. Have you just started using Evernote? Or do you possibly have a large number of notes in the Trash? Notes in Trash count against the 50-note limit. Also, what device and operating system do you use Evernote on?

@Vainpyre From the screen shots you provide it looks like you have two notebooks.  That also exceeds the Free account limits. So if what I see is correct that is likely to be the cause of the issue you face.

Delete the empty notebook and you should find things work OK within the Free account limits.

Had the same issue. Consolidated a couple of my old notebooks and cleaned up notes to go below 50 just to be nice. And couldn't create a new note. Clearing the trash solved my issue. UX could be better in this case and hint to clearing the trash...
