(Archived) Creating Communities Of Users

Listening to Podcast #24 yesterday - particularly the bit about sponsored accounts - it occurred to me that there isn't a mechanism for discovering other users that might want to share notebooks with you (and vice versa).

So, as a first step, I propose to put my username ("martinpacker") in my email closing (like I do my Twitter / Facebook ID and phone number).

Thoughts?

It's not exactly the same thing, but they do have meetups. (On the blog page, right side, under "connect.") Of course, meetups are more of a local community rather than an interest community. But there may be some overlap.
