(Archived) PDF Import on Mac pegs CPU usage

If I'm importing a PDF that's larger than a few KBs, EN will peg the computer, and it'll take a long time to import.

I tried importing a 10MB pdf, and it pegged my Dual G5 to maximum for a pretty significant amount of time (20 minutes?) until it was done.

When I tried to import about 300MB of various PDFs at once, it would do the same, but in that instance it crashed before it was done importing.
