Changing from a current Personal License to the new Free License

I don't need nor want anything more that the Free License's capabilities. However, the instructions on the site to do this do not work. If I can't get this done before 01/02/24 I'll just go to another note platform. Please Help!

Hi.  Go to https://www.evernote.com/BillyBillingProfile.action (it's the 'Billing' page of your online account) and check out the very bottom of the page, just above "Terms of Service".

To be clear, cancelling your service means no longer paying and dropping to the Free tier.

The Account Status page allows you to do more drastic things https://www.evernote.com/secure/CloseAccount.action

I don't want to cancel my service I just want to switch it from Personal to Free. The link provided in the first response above is where I've been going. However the option referenced is to cancel my subscription. If I select that (I guess t cancel my Personal license) will it automatically switch me to a Free license?

Cancel your du subscription, and it will automatically drop to free when it expires. Usually there is a little wait, so expect it to maybe take a few days longer on the subscription. These days are free of charge.
